Alyssa Narum

From Opera Singer to Mystic Vocalist

Alyssa Narum is a musician, singer, and performer whose music is characterized by its spiritual and conscious themes. Narum studied music and vocal performance at the University of North Texas and the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, receiving degrees from both schools. A pivotal moment in Narum's life was her move from Texas to Mount Shasta. It was there she learned to play guitar and began writing her own songs.

She now offers Kirtan, original heart songs, and voice coachings to her community and beyond. Her music and performances often incorporate themes of community and spiritual connection.

Mitchell Miller got his start in Savannah Georgia playing a wide range of music from country, to blues, classic rock, funk, and more. He entertained the masses at bars, clubs, and a wide variety of professional locations for 8 years before also receiving the intuitive hit to travel to Mount Shasta and make his new life there.

Strong Alone, Stronger When Together

The trajectory of Mitchell and Alyssa was forever changed one fateful day when they finally crossed paths in Mount Shasta.

It was the eve of Mitchell's first night as a Mount Shasta resident. Intuitively, he decided to walk one of the two streets that make the entirety of Mount Shasta's downtown, and came upon a storefront emitting a purple light. Upon closer investigation, he realized a good portion of the community was here for an open Mic! At this point, Mitchell had taken a pretty heavy break from public performance, but felt the immediate call to walk in and pick up a guitar.

He signed up for the Open Mic and sat towards the front. When his name was called, he turned to the closest person to him and asked to borrow their guitar. That person happened to be Alyssa!

As she recalls, he gave an amazing solo performance (with her guitar) that blew everyone away, leaving her thinking to herself, "Wow, it would be amazing to jam with that guy! He's next level!!"

Alyssa, on the other hand, having just gotten back from her first trip to India, received a powerful transmission from this pilgrimage and immediately began to test out her newfound ability for Kirtan singing at this same open Mic.

Both Mitchell and Alyssa are heavily influenced by the spirit of India and as a result this also gravitated them together as two humans walking the same mission in life as musicians and spiritual path.

Now, they perform regularly all over Southern Oregon and California at venues ranging from Churches, bars, restaurants, wellness centers, retreats, etc... You name it, they can sing there and have originals and. covers that will fit the occasion!

They are always writing songs with the intention of glorifying the creator, uplifting the spirit and bringing unity among communities. We look forward to some day sharing space with you in devotion and good vibes! It is our prayer and constant goal to always be...
